Veteran Requirements
- Served at least 90 days active duty
- One day during wartime period
- Honorable discharge
- Age 65 or older, OR permanently disabled
Wartime Service Periods
- WWII: Dec 1941 – Dec 1946
- Korean War: June 1950 – Jan 1955
- Vietnam War: Feb 1961 – May 1975
- Gulf War: Aug 1990 – Present

- Net worth under $163,699 (2026)
- Home value excluded
- Personal property excluded
- Income below threshold amounts
Care Need Requirements
- Need help with daily activities (bathing, dressing, eating)
- Bedridden or require mobility assistance

Your monthly household combined income from all sources must be below these amounts:
- Married Couple: $2,600 per month
- Single Veteran: $2,200 per month
- Surviving Spouse: $1,400 per month
Note: If you are living in Independent Living OR currently spending money on care services, you may be eligible with higher income than these amounts.
